Adult life is monotonous.
I'm missing my student life which used to allow me to have sedentary lifestyle and slacky time.
That makes a huge different from the routine I'm currently facing.
Wake up at 630am, set off at 7am to NUH, and report work at 750am.
Life goes on, day by day.
I don't have ampel time for blogging, shopping, surfing net, day dreaming, and sleeping.
Other than working, my time is dedicated for Darling Ivan unless contraindicated ( such as meeting up with friends or going back to JB ).
Luckily I have had a PE. PE means Personal Entertainer, Darling Ivan.
In fact, he is my PD (Personal Dietitian), PR (Personal Reminder), PA (Personal Assistant) and also PC (Personal Chauffeur). *Wink Wink*
That makes up 5Ps of mine!!! *Evil*
I wouldn't dare to imagine life without him by my side, listening my ups and downs, providing me a listening ears.
Of course, sometime poor Darling has to be my channel of frustration. *LaughS*

I couldn't open my mouth big for the moment.
As I'm having severe ulcers at the lower vestibule of my oral cavity. I counted today, total 6 tiny ulcers okay~!!! Although they are small, but unity is powerful!!!!
So now I know how superb is unity.
Therefore, lesson of today: 团结就是力量!!!
Haha.....
Time for me to have some traditional treatment for my ulcer, guess what is that?
Ya, if you're chinese definitely you'll know the answer. If you're not, probably you have the idea too.
SALT!!!
Add some salt on the ulcerous area... Pain la~!

Right now, I am in bad debts!
DBS sent me a letter of repay for my studies loan.

Yesterday, Friday. A day which I am looking forwards to weekly.
When I just boarded into Darling's car, I shouted out loud:" YEAH~! Finally it's friday~!!!!!" Big smile on my cheeks man....
So, everyone knows Fridays and weekends are precious right? Of course I would not spend it blindly.
Darling drove me to Queensway Shopping Centre for good Katong Laksa. Yes, you did not see wrongly. It's situated in Queensway. Haha....No doubts on the taste, great! Actually I wanted to pay for more crockles, and the owner said:
" Sorry, you cannot add more as we have got not enought of crockles already."

No choice lor...what to do..? pay $100 dollars for just a crockles arh?
So since we were already in Queensway, I thought of buying a crocs for myself as the NUH-provided crocs is really sickening. It is not hazards free! First, it is 2 inches high, you will trip when you walk faster as it's antislipped. Secondly, it has super duper hard sole, and it hurts your knees after standing for one whole day, no padding at all.
Left with no option, I gotta buy my own knowing that it will cost me a bomb.
Too bad, no RED available. If not...you would know la ho.....?? *Giggle*
I'm aiming this as my next target~! A die-die must have item in my shoes rack!
This is really comfortable and feminine looking. You gotta try it out and you'll know the reasons. Especially for professionals like us, standing for VERY long hours can cause severe complication to our precious but always-overlooked legs. Trust me, proper foot wears are really important for us.
I'm predicting that, I will say bye-bye to my favourite heels real soon as I gotta sacrifice a little bit more for my own health.
Nurse ma, of course more concern about health.... *Wink*

Poor Darling Ivan has sprained his right wrist.
Spraining is his diagnosis after he consulted a chinese physician. So acupuncture is the treatment implemented.
He had 5 needles on his right wrist, right forearm and neck area.

Tired but enriching day.
I was assigned to Theatre Reception today. Theatre Reception is a station which healthcare attendants do checking and sign patients in for operating room. Checking is extremely important in OT, to prevent any errors from occuring. Human errs, right? Who would long for a wrong operating procedure to be carried out on her/him? Can you imagine that if you were to be operated on toe removal and you were amputated instead? Or supposingly merely a tumour to be excised and ended up whole breast removed?
I learnt a lots. Thanks Auntie Chan and Suseela for teaching us patiently and in details. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.
We finally got our lockers.
BUT, we got to share among two.
It's so irritating and ridiculous. Such a huge organization, being acredited by JCI twice, unable to provide a satisfying well fare for their staff! We need to beg for our lockers and bug for the in-charge to assign us for our lockers!!!
What if we were submissive and gutless to voice up this?
Worse most is we got to share~!
Person A:" We are trying to search more lockers for you all...."
Us:" When will it be? We don't mind waiting, just give us a time frame."
Person A:" We are going to build more lockers over here..."
Us:" When will it be?"
Person A:" Can't give you a definite answer, we are still doing fundraising."
What the fuck, I'm going to write in...... and ultimately my letter would be handed to Ministry of Manpower if they're not solving our problem.

To my fellow friends,
Please bear with me if I contact you guys less frequently in future. This is beyond my control.
I am assigned to GENERAL SURGERY!! One of the two main disciplines of OT in NUH. Phrase it another way, I will be DROP DEAD busy from next week onwards after sister despatches us from the Foundation Programmes. I would rather join Orthopaedics although there is loads of heavy and funny instruments, general surgery is completely new to me.
Come to think of it, I am opened to an environment with lots of learning opportunities ahead. I hope my going-to-rust brain would restore its functions and able to absorb like a super sponge.
Got posted to the Theatre Sterile Supply Unit (TSSU) today.
A brand new place to me, which I have yet to experience it.
This is the first time I got close contact with all kinds of instruments. Do you know instruments have their own names, you call it incorrectly and you're doomed! Some of them looked extremely similar yet there are called differently!
Ex: 1) Needle Holder Mayo Hegar and Needle Holder Crilewood.
2) Tissue Forcept Allis and Tissue Forcept Stilles.
I love Bard Parker Blade Holder, as it is the one and only. Or.....There are more to come..?!?!
However, I'm glad that I managed to explore the whole place, it enriches me with new-learnt experience. Good!

PEOPLE~! As I'm typing this blog post, I've suffered from Parkinsonism....You know why..? Because my both hands are tremoring, and lethargic. Million thanks to BCLS ho...cause myself has a sudden onset of neurologic disorder.
Until now, I still could not get rid of the "1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 5, 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 10..........", Oh man, that's a magic curse to me lo.....
After the 5 modules test for BCLS, me and Eileen went out to relieve ourselves. If not, I think we would have psychological disorder again.....Maybe, we would have started to have hallucination and delusion, subsequently the next hospital I go would not be NUH, but IMH!!! Thanks god we had a shopping spree...
Well, let's give a round applauds to our Miss Eileen. She managed to start our shopping tour right from NUH. Stun? No! That's because we could get 20% staff discount on every items! Why not..??
She bought a pinky prima crocs!
Such a sweet crocs ya..?
Here I'm telling you that, I'll be grabbing one for myself end of this month after I got my first official pay from NUH~!!! Wahaha... *Laughs*
I managed to get two tops with spending of $26~! Cheap ho..?? Very nice~ I've bought one top which is the same as Eileen......*wink*
Oh man, how wish I got extra money so that I could do more shopping!!

Started work for two weeks, hell loads of stuff to be absorbed. However my rusty brain doesn't seem to function well, it has lost its capability of behaving like a sponge.
Information overloaded my tiny brain, aiyo~! saturated already...I need a break seriously.
BUT!! BCLS RECERTIFICATION on MONDAY~!
Do you think I can rest my mind well..???? Gosh...
Operating Theatre (OT) is a very cooling environment, air-conditioned all the time. During these two weeks, I could hardly see the sun, feel the heat. Well, I love it although some people don't like to be confined in OT.
In total, we have 8 newly graduated staff joining OT. We're all devoted in OT, love the job.
Let's see this is all of us~

Oh My Godness~!
I have not been blogging for nearly two weeks!! My apologise to my fellow friends, as I could hardly squeeze out extra time for my precious laptop...
Surprise you guys with one "good" news which is.... I'M GONNA MOVE HOUSE AGAIN!!!!!! Freak~!!
Moving house is one of my top hatreds! I'd moved house for 3-4 times within 2 years, so what makes you think that I would have no hatred towards shifting of house..?
So recently, I will spend plenty of times searching for a room with my sister and I'm quite worried that I could not get a room by this month or else I would be HOMELESS~!! OMG..this is really tragical........
Anyway, I've started my nursing career!
Today is second week of orientation programmes.....NUH floods us with tons of lectures, loads of boredom. Oh well, I view this in a more positive way, it allows us to escape from work!! Yeah~! IT SHUNS US FROM JCI AUDITION~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great job! NUH...
After CARE programmes at NACLI, Darling Ivan picked me up. Initially we wanted to view one of the rooms in Clementi but we're being aeroplaned. But, that's awesome for us~! We could celebrate our one month anniversary.... *Wink Wink*
Darling Ivan didn't show any concerns on our one month anniversary celebration, so I thought he doesn't care about all this. Who knows, today he gave me a BIG, NICE, EXCELLENT SURPRISES.....
He parked his car along roadside, and told me he needed to get his bag from his boot. When he came back, his bag transformed into a bouquet of flowers~!

He showed my magic trick to cheer me up. This is his way of pleasing me and stupid lousy me always couldn't discover his tricks. Darling, not you clever is I'm stupid ho.... But Darling is capable of surprising me!
Then, we made our way to Esplanade.
After he got his car parked, he got out of driver seat, opened my door and showed me another trick, his so called second trick. He asked me to withdraw any card from the stack of poker cards, and then took my card away and slotted it back. While he was putting the card back to the box, suddenly the cards turned into a necklace!!! Oh my god~! Where were the cards..??? Darling claimed that, they became the necklace...... *oh ya... =.=' *

Darling Ivan, our first month anniversary will always be in my mind. You've done so much, put in so much efforts just to surprise me and make me the luckiest woman on earth. I'm fortunate to have you as my Darling. *Muack*
