I'd never thought of nursing is a stressful career.

At most I would feel disappointed on how irrespectful the public is towards nurses.

Hello, we're helping you guys out there! We shower more concerns on you than those doctors do okay? Why is it the majority of Singapore nation paying different attitudes towards doctors and nurses?!

The most heartbreaking fact is that, our income and social prestige are so much lower than them!

#@*#@@^&.....

It's definitely not a worthwhile job.

Well, let's talk about theatre life of mine.





IT IS A STRESSFUL JOB!



IT IS A DANGEROUS JOB!



IT IS A HIGH-ALERT AREA TO WORK WITH!




Anytime would be involved in a lawsuit.


Today one of my colleagues had lost a forcep. My new colleague.

Oh gosh! The first thought that stroke us is :" Don't tell me it was left in patient's body!"

That happened when my colleague was cleaning her instruments after the operation, and after I've sent patient to Post Anaesthesia Care Unit.

Hence, X-ray was conducted immediately after the incident.

Fortunately, no foreign body was detected from the X-ray film.





Scary enough??





Of course~! And that is only a peanut among all!!

I learnt a lots for the days I spend in OT.

I've to be very sure of myself, stay alert at all time, be firm on my stand, be strong to keep myself going, to keep everything right.

I have to do every single little thing correctly to avoid any mistakes and accuses.

In such working environment, you can be easily accused!







What to do? Who asks me so devoted in OT?
